Students will have an overview of the aeronautics engineering industry with practical application of flight concepts.

 

Objective of Module

  • Expose students to the various aerospace courses offered in ITE College and Polytechnics.
  • Theory lesson to give students foundational knowledge on the principles of flight.
  • Through hands-on approach, the students will then apply science concepts to build a model aircraft.
  • Students will get to test flight their product on the last day under the guidance of the trainer

Students will learn about basic aspects of Clean Energy Technology and the various technology and application for their Elective Module

 

Objective of Module

  • Identify the attributes of common types of clean energy systems found in industry (solar, wind, geothermal and hydro)
  • Understand the interrelationships between energy, environment and society
  • Design a simple model using a clean energy source (e.g. wind energy)
  • Explain its applicability in commercial or consumer context
  • Identify suitable career paths related to this module

Edublitz Elective Series – Product Design

 

In order to enhance our students’ learning experience, we have specially tailored the course to include the many key aspects of 3D design production, using interesting hands-on approach to problem solving in mini-projects and larger modular project work.

 

Objective of Module

  • Apply the skills and knowledge of design processes using various conceptualization and visualization techniques
  • Creatively solve design problems through appropriate use of materials and media to convey their ideas
  • Apply modelling / prototyping skills and techniques from ideas generated.
  • Apply the techniques and skills taught to design a 3D product
  • Apply creativity and constructive imagination in the conceptual process.
  • Understand the discipline and planning involved in the computer aided design and the development process.
  • Know that they could excel in what they focus on and apply their effort to a task at hand.
  • Acquire Problem Solving skills in tackling tasks and problem
