Digital Art Programme - Manga Character Illustration
Manga is the Japanese word for comics and print cartoons. But outside of Japan, it is usually used to refer to comics originally published in Japan, or works derivative of the style (Japan graphic novels or novel-length comics). Manga drawing is one of the fastest growing and popular illustration style for digital media, animation and comic.

This programme is for students who have little drawing experience, or need an introduction to the wonderful art of Manga Creation. It also unveils the mysteries behind this art, and learns to create their own.

Selected student works will also be featured on Singapore educational card game 'Generals Order Strategy Card Game' (link) as a showcase and portfolio. This programme enable student to expose to the digital media, creative and design industry.

 u To learn how to draw and ink and color Manga Art (Japanese comics) with confidence using IT.

u To learn the techniques of various features of Manga Art from basic to digital form.

u To learn how to create Manga characters,
storyboard.

u To understand the requirement of printed Manga Art.
